Sunday January 12th, 2025: The Bills obliterated the Broncos by a final score of 31-7. Buffalo moved on to the divisional round where they'll meet the Ravens. Now in the 1st quarter Bass drilled a 26-yard field goal, 3-7. Their pass/run ratio was effective. Their QB completed passes across the middle or toward the sideline and their backs ran the ball fluently due to good blocking. They moved the sticks and executed on 3rd. No turnovers and their pass protection was good. Now they did struggle in the red zone and in goal to goal. First off, on defense their secondary had trouble in pass coverage. Outside of that, they shutdown chain movement and denied the run. Their pass rush got to the QB for only 1 sack but they did the next best thing which is force QB knockdowns or hurries. Allowed 0 red zone and goal to goal trips. Now they had no turnovers created. Then in the 2nd quarter Josh Allen threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Cook, 10-7. So Allen completed quality passes over the middle or at the sideline. Did an excellent job on 3rd down and rushed the ball well on quality blocking. They capitalized in the red zone and in goal to goal. No turnovers and their pass protection was solid. Good on 4th down too. Now they didn't move the chains as effectively though. Defensively, their secondary had a tough time in pass coverage and they let the chains move. They didn't allow a lot of rushing yards but the per carry total was still effective. At least they got off the field on 3rd down. Not to mention they kept Denver out of red zone and goal to goal situations. Again no turnovers were generated and their pass rush was in-effective. Buffalo had 13 first downs, were 1 for 1 on 4th and they went into halftime leading 10-7. Switching to quarter 3 Josh Allen found Ty Johnson for a 24-yard touchdown pass and they converted the 2-point try, 21-7. Bills on the offensive side steamrolled Philly in the 2nd half due to Mahomes reading the field and getting the ball out quick to his playmaking Recivers who racked up a ton of yards after the catch. Allen also completed passes over the middle or close to the sideline. Ground game was fluent as their O-Line provided lanes to go through and they moved the chains. No turnovers too. Now they slacked in the red zone and in goal to goal. Were even worse on 3rd down(0 for 2). On defense they simply disrupted the Quarterback's pocket presence and limited his passes. Let's not forget they eliminated red zone and goal to goal trips. They took away 3rd down and limited stick movement. Now their pass rush had no sacks in this quarter but they forced QB knockdowns or hurries. Can't exclude their ability to stop the run. In the 4th quarter on 3rd and 6 Allen delivered a 55-yard touchdown pass to Curtis Samuel, 28-7. Next drive Buffalo added the final nail after Bass drained a 34-yard field goal, 31-7. Buffalo secured 26 first downs with 14 coming in the ground and they went 8 of 15 on 3rd. Allen passed for 272 yards and they rushed for 210. Finished 1 of 5 in the red zone and were 1 for 3 in goal to goal. Allen got the ball quick going toward the sideline or across the middle and the Receivers did a nice job of creating separation. For the running backs they found space off quality blocking and exploited open gaps for big yardage. They had excellent execution on 3rd and 4th down. Including no turnovers and their pass protection was great. However, they lacked in the red zone. Defensively, they eliminated 3rd and 4th down. Also their pass rush got to the Quarterback for 2 sacks while causing knockdowns or hurries. Their secondary was excellent in pass coverage and they kept everything in front. Buffalo tallied 7 penalties for 45 yards, averaged 4.8 in yards per carry and moved up to a 14-4 record.

The Broncos were routed by the Bills after going down 7-31. Denver was eliminated from the NFL Postseason. In quarter 1 Bo Nix heaved a 43-yard touchdown pass to Franklin, 7-0. Denver in one secured 1 first down and went 1 for 2 on 3rd. QB threw for 64 yards and they rushed for 9. No red zone or goal to goal appearances. During the 2nd quarter Lutz with 5 seconds left missed a 50-yard field goal and the score stayed the same. First off, Bo Nix completed most of his passes across the middle, close to the sideline or at times deep down field. Moved the sticks effectively and their pass protection was golden. No turnovers ethier. The Broncos didn't run for a lot of yards but their per carry total was effective. Too bad they had no red zone or goal to goal trips. Firstly, on defense their secondary had major issues in pass coverage. Not to mention they had a difficult time stopping the run and getting off the field on 3rd was tough. Their pass rush was non existent and they created no turnovers. Couldn't defend red zone or goal to goal situations. Making 4th down stops was tough as well. Luckily they restricted chain movement. Denver had 9 total first downs while going 2 for 5 on 3rd, Nix had 117 yards passing and they enetred halftime trailing 7-10. Pushing to quarter 3 on 3rd and 11 Bo Nix had his pass fall incomplete. This would be back to back three and out drives. Denver in three tallied 0 first downs and went 0 for 2 on 3rd. Nix passed for 0 yards and they rushed for 7. No red zone or goal to goal trips ethier. Denver tallied 13 first downs with 13 coming in the air and they finished 2 of 9 on 3rd. Nix threw for 159 and they ran for 79. Were 0 for 1 in the red zone with no goal to goal trips. For the Quarterback he had a good completion percentage but threw for low yardage. They had struggles converting on 3rd and 4th down. Doesn't help either that they slacked in red zone territory and their pass protection was sluggish. No goal to goal trips to go along. Luckily Denver didn't turn it over and they ran the ball well on good blocking. For the defense their secondary had problems in pass coverage and stopping the run was tough. They also let the sticks advance. Now their pass rush got 2 sacks which is great but they barley applied pressure on Josh Allen. They had 1 sack back in the 2nd quarter and then another one in the 4th.(Not very many as you can see). To make matters worse they had trouble making 3rd and 4th down stops. Now they did takeaway red zone and goal to goal opportunities. Denver went 1 for 3 on 4th, averaged 4.6 in yards per carry and they fell to a 10-8 record.

Saturday January 11th, 2025: The Texans routed the Chargers 32-12. Houston stays alive and moves on to the Divisional round. During the 1st quarter Metchie made catch but he fumbled after Gilman stripped him and it led James recovering the ball. Houston through one picked up 2 first downs while going 0 for 2 on 3rd. Stroud threw for 43 yards and they rushed for 3. No red zone or goal to goal appearances. 1 turnover too. Then in the 2nd quarter C.J. Stroud had his pass picked off by Leonard. Afterwards, on 3rd and 16 C.J. Stroud completed a 34-yard pass to Hutchinson. Five plays later Stroud found Collins for a 13-yard touchdown pass, 7-6. This drive lasted 13 plays for 110 yards and they pressed the ball for 5:17. The next drive Fairbairn with 6 seconds left buried a 41-yard field goal, 10-6. First off, C.J. Stroud completed most of his passes across the middle, close to the sideline or at times deep down field. Moved the sticks effectively and executed in red zone territory. Did a decent job on 3rd down and ran the ball effectively due to good blocking. Their pass protection allowed 2 sacks but overall they did great at minimizing pressure. Now they did turn it over and made 0 goal to goal trips. On defense their secondary defended the pass well by swatting balls down and got off the field when facing 3rd. Stopped the rush by clogging lanes and shutdown chain movement. Allowed 0 red zone and goal to goal trips. Forced a takeaway too. For their pass rush they got only 1 sack but they did the best thing which was force QB knockdowns or hurries. Houston tallied 10 total first downs while going 3 for 7 on 3rd, averaged 5.9 in yards per carry and entered halftime leading 10-6. In the 3rd quarter Joe Mixon fumbled the ball and Los Angeles recovered it. A drive later Fairbairn sunk a 37-yard field goal, 13-6. Only positive things going for Houston in quarter was their pass and run game. Now on defense Murray picked off Herbert and returned it for a 38-yard touchdown, 20-6. Houston through three acquired 4 first downs while converting 1 3rd down on 3 tries and their Quarterback passed for 79 yards. They ran for 26 averaging 4.8 in yards per carry. No red zone or goal to goal entries. During the 4th quarter Fairbairn knocked in a 30-yard field goal, 23-6. Late in the quarter Joe Mixon broke loose for a 17-yard rushing touchdown, 32-12. Houston acquired 19 first downs with 12 coming on the pass and they went 5 of 14 on 3rd. Stroud passed for 282 yards and they ran for 155. Were 2 for 4 in the red zone with no goal to goal opportunities. Stroud spotted his Wide Receivers with good passes whether it came across the middle, toward the sideline or deep down field. They moved the sticks and ran the ball fluently due to good blocking. Kept their possessions alive by executing on 3rd and 4th down. Too bad their pass protection was a bit sluggish and they turned it over. Couldn't capitalize in goal to goal. First off on defense their secondary had trouble in pass coverage. They contained the run by closing gaps and their pass rush got to the Quarterback for 4 sacks. Restricted red zone and goal to goal opportunities. Took away 3rd and 4th down. Created turnovers as well. Houston averaged 4.9 in yards per carry, finished 2 for 2 on 4th and improved to an 11-7 record.

Herbert's 4 interceptions pushed the Chargers to a 12-32 loss to the Texans. Los Angeles was eliminated from the Playoffs. Midway into the 1st quarter Dicker drianed a 35-yard field goal, 3-0. This capped off a 10 play drive that went for 57 yards and they controlled the ball for 5:23. Next drive Dicker drilled a 39-yard field goal, 6-0. This was set up on a Texans fumble. Only positives of this quarter was their passing attack and chain movement. Los Angeles in one secured 6 first downs and went 0 for 3 on 3rd. Herbert passed for 51 yards and they ran for 29 while averaging 3.6 in yards per carry. Were 0 for 1 in the red zone with no goal to goal trips. Pushing to the 2nd quarter Justin Herbert had his pass intercepted by Lassister. This would be Herbert's first INT on the road on 240 pass attempt. The Chargers capped off quarter 2 by snagging 3 first downs and went 1 of 4 on 3rd. Justin Herbert completed 3 passes on 11 tries for 46 yards and they ran for 6. No red zone or goal to goal entries either. 1 turnover as well. Los Angeles had 9 first downs, rushed for 35 while averaging 2.9 in yards per carry and went into halftime trailing 6-10. Then in the 3rd quarter on 4th and 2 Justin Herbert's pass to Johnson fell incomplete with Stingley in coverage for a turnover on downs. Los Angeles ended quarter 3 by attaining 1 first down and went 0 for 2 on 3rd. Herbert threw for 4 yards and they rushed for 8. No red zone or goal to goal trips. 2 turnovers as well. Switching to the 4th quarter Justin Herbert threw a pass to Dissly who couldn't hang on to the ball and it ended up being a Stingley interception. A possession later Justin Herbert connected with McConkey for an 86-yard touchdown pass but their PAT was blocked and returned by Ross for a 2-point score, 12-25. In conclusion, with 2:55 left Herbert had his pass intercepted by Stingley. The Chargers had 15 first downs while going 3 of 11 on 3rd and their QB passed for 242 yards. They ran for 50 yards and finished 0 for 1 in the red zone. No goal to goals ethier. Justin Herbert completed solid passes across the middle, close to the sideline or occasionally deep downfield. They moved the sticks as well. However, they performed poorly on 3rd and 4th down. They turned it over and their pass protection was terrible. Were insufficient in red zone territory with no goal to goal entries. By the way Herbert's completion percentage was horrible! For the defense their secondary had problems in pass coverage and stopping the run was tough. They let the sticks advance. Not to mention making 3rd and 4th down stops was even tougher. Luckily their pass rush was effective because they got to Stroud for 3 sacks and kept Houston out of goal to goal situations. Justin Herbert is 0-2 in the Postseason, they averaged 2.8 in yards per carry while going 0 for 1 on 4th and they fell to an 11-7 record.

Sunday January 14th, 2024: The Packers move on to the Divisional round after beating the Cowboys 48-32. This game was further than the score looks and Green Bay will meet the 49ers next week. During the 1st quarter the Packers would cap off a 12 play drive with Jones scampering into the end zone for a 3 yard touchdown, 7-0. Green Bay in one recorded 8 1st downs and went 2 for 3 on 3rd while rushing for 27 yards. Love threw for 81 and were 1 of 1 in the red zone. The Packers were moving the sticks effectively and executed on 3rd down. Showed efficiency in red zone territory as well. Now for Jordan Love he found his Wide Receivers over the middle or on the outside with good protection. However, Green Bay didn't make any goal to goal trips and their run game was ineffective due to poor blocking or the Dallas defense plugged gaps. Speaking of defense the Packers secondary in pass coverage batted balls down and the D-line applied pressure which forced Dak Prescott to throw it away or turn it over. No sacks though and struggled a bit against the run. Then in the 2nd quarter Jordan Love on 3rd and 16 with great pass protection heaved a 15 yard completion to Doubs which set up 1st down. A play later Jones would burst into the end zone for a 1 yard touchdown this going up 14-0. This 3 play scoring drive was off a Prescott INT. The Packers piled up 3 first downs while going 3 for 3 on 3rd and ran for 4 yards. Love three for 89 and proceeded to go 1 of 1 in the red zone. Also went 1 of 1 in goal to goal and outscored Dallas 20-7. So Jordan Love completed his passes deep across the middle and toward the sideline. Excellent pass protection as well. They did a tremendous job of keeping their drives alive by converting on 3rd. Also capitalized in both the red zone and in goal to goal. Unfortunately, their run game wasn't as effective but that was because Green Bay had one possession in this quarter. Overall though the run game as a whole was bad due to poor blocking up front. On defense their secondary in pass coverage struggled just a bit and stopping the run was tough because they couldn't plug any gaps. With that being said....Green Bay's D-line applied enough pressure to earn the games only sack of the half. Tallied 13 points off 2 total takeaways as well. Shifting to the 3rd quarter Aaron Jones would break for a 9 yard touchdown, 34-10. This drive went 5 plays for 75 yards and controlled the ball for 2:45. The Packers gained 4 first downs and went 1 for 1 in the red zone. Love passes for 74 and ran for 66. Green Bay got their pass/run ratio clicking as Love completed most his passes deep over the middle amd their rushers off great blocking exposed space for positive yards. The Packers would face zero 3rd downs and executed in the red zone. They weren't picking up a lot first downs but each of their possessions lasted 5 plays or less and made no goal to goal trips. The defense on the other got in the backfield and forced 1 sack. Moving to the 4th quarter Jordan Love fired a 3 yard touchdown pass to Doubs who was in the middle of the end zone, 48-16. Packers ran for 40 and passed for 3. Went 1 for 1 in the red zone with 1 first down added and were 0 of 1 in goal to goal. Green Bay due to quality blocking ran the ball extremely well and were effective in red zone territory. Went 2 for 4 on 3rd and made no goal to goal entries. Hardly advanced the sticks and Love rarely threw the ball for any yards. To be honest Love had some incomplete passes but for the most part Green Bay stuck to the ground game to eat clock. Green Bay picked up 22 first downs with 11 coming in the air and rushed for 143 yards. They also finished 6 for 10 on 3rd and were 4 of 4 in the red zone. Along with going 1 of 1 in goal to goal. Look, Jordan Love and Dak Prescott completed their passes deep over the middle or at the sideline and rushers exploited gaps on terrific blocking. Both Green Bay and Dallas executed on 3rd down and aggressively moved the sticks. Can't exclude their ability to capitalize in red zone territory and in goal to goal. In conclusion, the Packers were more effecient on 4th, scored the most and kept turnovers in check. Green Bay also had better pass protection. Defensively, each secondary in pass coverage had their fair share of issues and couldn't stop the run. They were struggling to get off the field on 3rd down and let the sticks move. Doesn't help either that they were unable to protect the red zone and goal to goal. Luckily for the Packers their D-line won battles at the line of scrimmage as it led to 3 sacks, forced more giveaways and restricted 4th.

The Cowboys in the wild card got blown out by the Packers 32-48. Dallas is the first team to lose to a 7 seed since the Postseason bracket was expanded and lost three years in a row with a 12-5 record. Dallas through one posted 1 1st down while going 1 of 3 on 3rd and lost the ball once. Prescott was also 1 of 3 for 0 yards and they rushed for 32. Dak Prescott looking like his usual Playoff self. Prescott has the pass protection but Receivers couldn't get open and threw a few incomplete passes. Got picked off as well. Not to mention they were struggling to move the sticks and were insufficient on 3rd down. Don't forget Dallas had zero red zone and goal to goal appearances. At least Dallas got their run game going because the rushers were able to exploit open space off good blocking. Eventually, during the late stages of the 2nd quarter Prescott with no time found Ferguson for a 1 yard touchdown pass, 7-27. Dallas exited the 2nd by picking up 9 first downs and snagged 38 yards in the ground. Were 1 for 1 in both the red zone and in goal to goal. Including Prescott throwing for 68. Prescott completed his passes through the middle and close to the sideline. Along with Dallas exploring open space off quality blocking and moved the chains effectively. Also found ways to stay in the field when facing 3rd down while executing in the red zone and in goal to goal. Too bad turnovers weren't being limited and pass protection needed to be better. Yea, you've only given up one sack but despite that Prescott is getting a lot pressure in his face. Defensively, the Cowboys secondary had a tough time defending the pass and their rarely putting pressure on the QB but they did great against the rush by clogging holes. 0 sacks as well. Heading to the midway point of the 3rd Pollard would go into the end zone for a 1 yard score but missed the PAT, 16-34. This drive went 11 plays for 82 yards and possessed the ball for 3:35. Dallas closed out the 3rd quarter by earning 10 first downs and notched 37 yards on the ground while getting outscored 14-9. Prescott threw for 59 and were 3 for 4 on 3rd. That includes going 1 of 1 in both the red zone and in goal to goal. Dak Prescott with solid pass protection continued to complete his throws across the middle or going toward the sideline. In addition, Dallas was able to expose open holes on excellent blocking and advanced the markers. Did extremely well on 3rd down. They were also effecient in red zone territory and in goal to goal. This offense is scoring but the defense wasn't making stops. Transitioing into the 4th quarter Prescott found Ferguson for a 7 yard touchdown and converted a successful two point try, 24-48. The Cowboys in this quarter alone recorded a bunch of first downs and executed on 3rd. Capitalized in the red zone and in goal to goal situations. Now for Prescott he delivered majority of his passes through the middle or deep downfield. Unfortunately, their pass protection wasn't as effective after they let up a sack and running the ball was a non factor thanks to poor blocking. The Cowboys gained 37 first downs while finishing 10 of 16 on 3rd and ran for 123 yards. More importantly they were able to go 4 of 5 in the red zone and 3 for 3 in goal to goal.

Saturday January 14th, 2024: The Texans knock off the Browns in an AFC wild card clash 45-14. Houston with a Rookie QB advances to the Divisional round of the Playoffs. In the 1st quarter on 3rd and 6 C.J Stroud fired a 38 yard pass completion to Nico Collins for a first down. Too bad this 7 play drive ended with Stroud's pass falling incomplete to Robert Woods. This set up a Fairbairn 21 yard field goal, 3-0. A drive later Stroud darted a 15 yard touchdown strike to Nico Collins, 10-7. Stroud through one passed 107 yards and rushed for 37 while averaging 7.4 per carry. Went 1 for 3 on 3rd and 0 of 1 in the red zone. 0 giveaways and no sacks allowed. C.J. Stroud with good pass protection got time in the pocket and delivered quality passes over the middle or on the outside. Went deep a few times as well. Not to mention they ran the ball effectively due to good blocking. Although, Houston struggled to move the chains and weren't effecient on 3rd down. Had some issues executing in goal to goal situations and were 1 of 2 in the red zone. So in the 2nd quarter on the first play of the Texans first drive Stroud delivered a short pass completion to Jordan who took it for a 76 yard touchdown, 10-7. Later on Stroud connected with Schultz for a 37 yard passing touchdown, 24-14. Texans got the ball after halftime too. To end the 2nd Stroud threw for 129 yards and they rushed for 12. CJ Stroud did a great job of manipulating the defense with his eyes as completed solid passes over the middle close to the sideline. Also hit Receivers going deep. Along with excellent pass protection and turnovers were a non factor. Now Houston made 0 red zone and goal to goal trips. Let's not forget they hardly moved the markers and went 1 for 2 on 3rd. Doesn't help either that they couldn't get the run game started because of poor blocking and the Browns defense closing off open space. As for their secondary in pass coverage their allowing completions but keeping everything in front of them. They also won at the line of scrimmage by getting in the backfield for a couple sacks and did well against the rush. During the 3rd quarter Nelson would intercept Joe Flacco and returned it for an 82 yard touchdown thus going up 31-14. The Texans on two drives only picked up 1 first down and went 0 for 1 on 3rd. Stroud threw for 27 and ran for 1. Offensively, Stroud didn't throw the ball for many yards nor did they run it because the defense forced 2 turnovers back to back and scored 14 points off those takeaways. I guess the one negative would be the lack of 1st downs and didn't convert on 3rd. As for the defense their secondary in pass coverage added key turnovers off the D-line forcing pressure to the QB and clogged running lanes. Shifting to the 4th quarter Texans added the dagger after Singletary scampered into the end zone for a 19 yard rushing touchdown, 45-14. Stroud threw for 6 yards and gained 0 on the ground. Recorded 1 first down and went 0 of 1 on 3rd. Houston in the 4th had two possessions which means they had problems advancing the sticks and didn't do well 3rd. Didn't enter red zone territory or goal to goal. Keep note the only reason Houston even had two drives was because the Browns had both of their possessions last nine minutes. So you can catch drift here. Also Stroud rarely threw any yards and hardly ran due crowded holes. Defense would go on to tally back to back turnover on downs with 1 sack added. Throughout the game Houston recorded 14 first downs with 10 coming in the air and finished 2 for 8 on 3rd down. Also proceeded to go 2 of 3 in the red zone and 1 for 1 in goal to goal. Ran for 76 yards too. So as a whole team Stroud and Flacco completed their passes over the middle, deep down field or on the outside. They also advanced the markers and capitalized in the red zone. To conclude these two teams the Texans had better pass protection, scored the most and kept turnovers low. Let's not forget Houston's rushers exposed open gaps off great blocking. Luckily for the Browns they showed more execution on 3rd down and did well in goal to goal. To be honest I'm slightly being nice here. Yes Cleveland was 100% in goal to goal but that came back in the 1st half. Defensively, their secondaries in pass coverage were struggling and couldn't protect the red zone. Gave up a ton of first downs as well. Look, the Texans defense stopped the rush by plugging gaps, D-line forced more pressure on Flacco as they racked up 4 sacks and made stops on 4th. Houston won the turnover battle and allowed 0 2nd half points. What blows my mind is the Browns defense is ranked 2 and they recorded 0 sacks in a 60 minute game. However, Cleveland's defense took away 3rd down converting and restricted goal to goal interactions.

The Browns against the Texans suffered a tough 14-45 loss. Cleveland has now been eliminated from the Postseason. The Browns in quarter 1 took their lead after Hunt ran into the end zone for a 1 yard scored 7-3. Now right as the quarter was ending Flacco completed a 47 yard pass to Bryant and it set Cleveland up with a 1st and goal. In the 1st Joe Flacco three for 129 yards and ran for 4 while going 1 for 3 on 3rd. Also went 1 for 1 in the red zone and in goal to goal. Including 0 turnovers and picked up 5 first downs. No sacks either. Joe Flacco scanned the field well and fired his passes across the middle or toward the sideline. Also found his wide receivers deep down field and had excellent pass protection. The Browns were also effective in the red zone territory and in goal to goal. Unfortunately, they were struggling to move the sticks and couldn't stay on the field when facing 3rd down. Ran the ball poorly thanks to bad blocking up front and the lanes were clogged. Then at the very start of the 2nd quarter the Browns would region their lead after found Hunt for a 11 yards passing touchdown, 14-10. Flacco closed out the 2nd by passing for 42 yards and rushed 20 while going 1 of 3 on 3rd. That includes 2 first downs and went 1 for 1 in the red zone. Cleveland at this point in time were struggling to get their run game going because holes got plugged and the blocking wasn't up to par. Weren't effecient on 3rd down and rarely moved the sticks. Made no goal to goal trips ethier and the Pass protection in the 2nd had their fair share of issues in protecting their QB. Minus a few sacks, Flacco did a tremendous job of finding his Receivers over the middle or deep toward the sideline with quality pass completions. Executed in red zone territory too. As for the defense their secondary in pass coverage needed to be better and the D-line wasn't putting much pressure on Stroud. A few positives were stopping the run and got off the field when facing 3rd. The Browns in the 3rd picked up 2 first downs and were 0 for 0 in the red zone. No goal to goal appearances ethier. Flacco threw for 73 yards and they ran for 8. The Browns were insufficient at moving the chains and were 2 for 4 on 3rd. Can't exclude their inability to execute in the red zone and in goal to goal. A poor running attack and terrible pass protection to go along. Now despite a couple picks, Flacco still complete passes deep over the middle or at the sideline. Moving forward turnovers needed to be limited because for Cleveland it's working against them. In the 4th quarter Joe Flacco on 4th down was sacked by Hinish and it led to a turnover on downs. The Browns snagged 3 first downs and ran for 26 yards. Flacco threw for 38 as well. Joe Flacco didn't throw for many yards due constant incompletes or drops and pass protection was treacherous in the 2nd half. Remember they allowed 0 in the 1st. Couldn't run the ball off poor blocking and barely moved the chains. No red zone or goal to goal appearances ethier and went 2 for 4 on 3rd. Cleveland ended their night by nabbing 18 first downs with 14 coming on the pass and went 7 of 15 on 3rd. Finished 2 for 2 in the red area and went 1 of 1 in goal to goal.

Monday January 16th, 2023: The Buccaneers fall to the Cowboys after getting blasted 14-31. Bucs are heading home and Brady gets elimianted in the wildcard round for the first time since 2019. Bucs in the 1st on their second possession would be forced into a three and and out after Brady's pass to Fournette fell incomplete. Thus bringing out the punting unit. Tampa Bay through one snagged 5 first downs with 4 coming on the pass and went 3 for 5 on 3rd. Including 21 yards rushing. The Bucs passing game caught fire late as Tom Brady got the ball out quick on intermediate routes and Recivers were able to create seperation to make quality catches. Tampa Bau moved the sticks effectively and executed on 3rd but the running from time to time was a struggle due lanes at not opening up. A quarter later during the 2nd Tom Brady on 3rd and 13 had his pass to Godwin fall incomplete after Vander Esch batted the ball down. Tampa Bay ended the 2nd by reeling in 2 first downs and went 2 for 2 on 3rd with Brady throwing for 39 yards. The Bucs offense looked absolutely flat! Tom Brady is being rushed way to much as it's forcing him to throw the ball away and their backs continue to run into clogged holes. They struggled moving the sticks as well and couldn't capitalize on red zone opportunities but did alright on 3rd down. Transitioning into the 3rd quarter Tom Brady with 0 ticks on the clock would heave a 30 yard touchdown pass to Julio Jones but couldn't convert the 2-point play, 6-24. Bucs wrapped up the 3rd by securing 6 first downs while going 2 for 4 on 3rd and matched Dallas for a score each. Buccaneers offense just cant seem to get it going. Brady getting pressured on almost every snap and it causing him to overthrow his targets. As for their run game it continues to get stopped as they struggle in finding space and lanes weren't opening up. When this offense was in sync it was due to Brady getting protection and doing damage deep down the sideline. Now in the 4th quarter with 2:04 left Tom Brady would deliver an 8 yard touchdown pass to Cameron Brate and successfully converted a 2-point play, 14-31. Bucs in the 4th quarter hauled in 10 first downs and went 3 for 6 on 3rd while outscoring Dallas 8-6. Tampa Bay concludes their night by securing 20 of their 24 total first downs when utiliizing the pass and went 10 of 18 on 3rd and 1 for 3 in the red area. Offensively the Bucs did most of theor damage through the air as Brady delivered quick strikes through the middle of the field but due to poor protection it forced him to throw the ball away or was missing targets. Their run game other hand was nowhere to be seen as holes got plugged and the blocking was flat. However, Tampa Bay did manage to move the sticks well when utilizing the pass and even did alright when facing 3rd down situations but executed poorly in the red zone and in goal to goal. Bucs went 1 for 3 on 4th, 1 for 3 in goal to goal and fell to an 8-10 record.

Cowboys steamroll past Tom Brady and the Buccaneers after picking up a 31-14 win. Dallas is now 1-8 when versing Tom Brady and earned their first road win in the playoffs since 1993. Dallas in the 1st picked up 4 first downs with 2 coming in the air and went 0 for 2 in 3rd. Also rushed for 28 yards with 1 first down added. The Cowboys pass/run ratio got going late as Prescott did his damage down the sideline and rushers found open gaps on quality blocks. Dallas moved the sticks well but struggled on 3rd. Then during the 2nd quarter Prescott would deliver a 32 yard pass completion to Ferguson and it set Dallas up in Tampa Bay territory. Few plays later Dak Prescott on 4th and goal on a play action boot would scamper into the end zone for a 1 yard score but missed the PAT, 12-0. This score was setup on a Tom Brady pick. Dalles capped off quarter 2 by earning 9 first downs and went 4 for 5 on 3rd. Along with Prescott throwing for 150 yards and they ran for 34. Cowboys pass/run ratio still effective as Prescott got the ball out fast to his playmakers who gained quality yards after the catch and their rushers continue to find space off good blocks. They also executed well on both 1st and 3rd down. Including red zone dominance. Defensively they've done e great at pressuring Brady due to getting their hands up to disrupt his throws and were run stop dominate. During the 3rd quarter Prescott would dart a 2 yard touchdown pass in the back of the end zone to Michael Gallup but missed the PAT, 24-0. Keep note that their kicker Brett Maher missed 4 PAT's in a row. The Cowboys in the 3rd quarter pulled in 6 first downs and went 2 for 2 on 3rd with Prescott throwing for 66 yards. That also includes 45 yards rushing. Cowboys this time around ran the ball effectively off good blocking and Prescott completed his passes through the middle of the field or when going deep. Also kept the ball moving when when winning 1st and 3rd down battles and were great in the red area. In the end, during the 4th quarter Dak Prescott would add the ultimate knockout punch after finding Lamb for an 18 yard touchdown strike, thus going up 31-6. Dallas sealed off the 4th by hanging in 3 first downs and went 1 for 3 on 3rd and 1 for 1 in the red zone. Dallas throughout their night racked up 26 first downs with 16 of them coming in the air and finished 7 of 12 on 3rd and 4 for 4 in the red zone. Also ran for 129 yards with 8 first downs added. The Cowboys all night long hammered Tampa Bay on both the pass and run game. Prescott did a terrific job of reading the field and quickly getting the ball out to his playmaking guys who created space for positive catches and had solid route running. As for Dallas's defense they pressured Brady for 4 sacks and got their hands in the air to deflect most of his pass attempts. Dallas went 2 for 2 on 4th down, Prescott threw 4 touchdowns on 305 yards passing and advanced themselves to a 13-5 record.

Sunday January 15th, 2023: Bills survive an upset as they downed the Dolphins by a score of 34-31. Bills advance to Divisional round and will take on the 1st seed Chiefs. Josh Allen in the 1st quarter deep down the left sideline would hook up with Diggs for a 54 yard completion and set Buffalo up at the Miami 6 yard line. This was on a 3rd and 15 situation as well. A play later Allen would deliver a 6 yard touchdown to Knox who hauled in a one handed catch, 7-0. Buffalo after that, would extend their lead after James Cook got free for 15 yard score, thus going up 14-0. This score was setup on a Thompson interception. Buffalo capped off quarter 1 by snagging 10 first downs with 6 coming in the air and went 3 for 4 on 3rd and 2 for 2 in the red area. Including 38 yards rushing with 3 first downs added. The Bills pass game was effective early on as Josh Allen got the ball out quickly weather it was on intermediate routes or when going deep down the sidelines. Running game equally did damage as well due to their backs following blocks and finding open holes. Buffalo had solid execution on both 1st and 3rd and capitalized on red zone opportunities. Then during the 2nd quarter Buffalo would get into Miami territory after Josh Allen on 3rd and 6 delivered a 17 yard completion to Davis. Momemts after, with 7 ticks left Bass would drill in a 28 uard field goal, 20-17. This drive lasted 6 plays for 59 yards and controlled the ball for 29 seconds. Buffalo wrapped up 2nd by picking up 2 first downs and went 1 for 2 on 3rd with 2 turnovers. The only reason Buffalo has been on and off the field is because they stalled 2 of their 4 possessions with interceptions. Other than the interceptions, they struggled to run due poor blocking and no space to go. Moving forward Buffalo has to limit mistakes and stay on the field longer in order to give their defense a rest. They have to get their run/pass ratio on the go as well. Bills went a total went 5 of 8 on 3rd, Allen threw for 220 yards with 2 picks and 2 touchdowns while entering halftime leading 20-17. Now in the 3rd quarter Buffalo would regain their lead after Allen spotted Beasley for an 23 yard touchdown strike and went up 27-24. This drive lasted t plays for 33 yards and possessed the ball for 2:11. Bills in three hauked in 6 first downs and went 2 for 4 on 3rd with 1 fumble lost. Including 34 yards rushing and Allen threw for 94. The Bills offense got their pass/run ratio clicking as Allen completed quick strikes towards the sidelines and Recivers did a nice job of securing catches when in space while their rushers found gaps off quality blocks. Bills would continue to dominate 1st and 3rd down while executing inside the red zone. A quarter later during the 4th Buffalo's first possession would end in a three and out after Allen on 3rd and 10 got sacked by Sieler for -3 yards. Thus bringing out the punting unit. Bills in the 4th turned in 2 first downs and went 2 for 4 on 3rd with 18 yards rushing. Bills finalize their afternoon by earning 25 first downs with 16 of them coming on the on pass and finished 9 of 16 on 3rd and 3 for 4 in the red zone. That'll also include 9 first downs on 107 yards rushing. Bills hung in 423 yards of total offense, went 2 for 2 in goal to goal and improved to a 14-3 record.

Dolphins heading back home after going down to the Bills 31-34. Dolphins end the year at .500 and will look to revamp next season. The Dolphins first possession of the 1st quarter would end in a three and out after Thompson had his pass to Sherfield fall incomplete on a 3rd and 8 play. Miami ended the first 15 minutes by securing 1 first down which came on the pass and went 1 for 3 on 3rd with 11 yards rushing. Also possessed the ball for only 4:06. The Dolphins third string Skylar Thompson is struggling to read the field and Recivers are dropping open catches. Run game on the other hand couldn't get going due to their rushers being unable to find space off poor blocks and lanes aren't getting cleared. They've also had issues in moving the sticks and executed poorly on 3rd down. During the 2nd quarter the Dolphins would finally find the red zone after Thompson delivered a 7 yard touchdown pass to Gesicki and successfully converted a 2-point play, 17-17. This score came off a Josh Allen INT. Dolphins in the 2nd reeled in 5 first downs and went 1 for 4 on 3rd with Thompson throwing for 96 yards. Skylar Thompson started going through his progressions much better as he got the ball out fast when going towards the sidelines but struggles in protection after getting sacked twice and Recivers continue to drop open passes. They also had issues running the ball as their rushers couldn't find holes and blockers weren't providing space. Miami as whole unit managed to eat a ton of time and moved the sticks effectively but still had problems on 3rd down and aren't capitalizing well in the red area. Dolphins scored 11 points off Buffalo turns, went 1 of 1 on 4th and entered halftime down 17-20. Entering the 3rd quarter Miami would gain their first lead after Eric Rowe forced a strip sack on Josh Allen and it allowed Sieler to recover the loose ball for a scoop and score 5 yard touchdown, 24-20. Dolphins through three went 0 for 4 on 3rd with 3 first downs gained and got outscored 14-7. The Dolphins this time around seemingly looked flat! I mean running the ball was a struggle due to no lanes opening up and Thompson had most of his passes go for no gains with a pick thrown. They would move the chains poorly and struggled to keep drives alive when facing a 3rd down as well. We now turn our attentions to the 4th quarter, where Wilson ran up the middle for a 1 yard score. 31-34. This drive went 11 plays for 67 yards. In the end, Miami with 2:29 left would be forced into a turnover on downs after Thompson on 4th and 5 had his pass to Gesicki batted away by Elam. Miami concluded the 4th by racking up 1 first down while outscoring Buffalo 7-0 and went 1 for 3 on 3rd. Miami throughout their day secured 16 first downs with 12 coming in the air and went 4 of 16 on 3rd and 2 for 4 in the red zone. They would go on to snag 42 yards rushing with 3 first downs tallied. Dolphins were a blunder in the 2nd half as Thompson missed a ton of open targets in key situations of the game and running the ball was hard to come by due lanes getting clogged. That also includes poor execution in the red zone and when facing a 3rd down. They had costly false start penalties as well. Dolphins allowed Thompson to get sacked 4 total times, tallied 231 yards of total offense and dropped down to a 9-9 record.

Saturday January 14th, 2023: The 49ers outlast the Seahawks after picking up a big 41-23 Victory. This moves their win streak to 10 in a row and are two wins away from the getting back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2019-2020. Niners in the 1st would push their lead after Purdy delivered a 3 yard touchdown pass to McCaffrey, 10-3. Niners through one picked up 5 first downs with 3 coming in air and went 0 for 1 on 3rd. They outscored Seattle 10-0 as well and picked up 2 first downs on 93 yards rushing. Niners got their pass/run ratio clicking as Purdy got the ball out quickly to his playmakimg Recivers and their rushers followed blocks for positive gains. Niners also doing a solid job of staying away from 3rd down situations due to each play goimg for 20 yards or more and moved the sticks effectively. Niners in the 2nd quarter with 40 ticks left would move the ball in Seattle territory after Purdy on 3rd and 10 heaved an 18 yard pass completion to Samuel who got pushed out of bounds by Bryant. Unfortunately, the Niners 8 play drive would end with a Gould 46 yard field goal, 16-17. Niners through two piled in 4 first downs while outscoring San Francisco 17-6 and went 1 for 5 on 3rd with Purdy throwing for 98 yards. They ran for 19 yards as well. Niners this time around looked completely flat in terms of running ball because they got stopped for short yard gains and their blocking wasn't up to par but Purdy on the other hand, was protected well and did moat of his damage when going deep through the middle of the field. However, they did move the sticks effectively but performed poorly on red zone chances and in a 3rd down. Niners rushed for 110 yards total, went 1 for 3 in red zone e territory and entered halftime facing a 16-17 deficit. During the 3rd quarter Purdy would keep this 13 play drive alive on 3rd and 7 after delivering a 21 yard pass completion to Samuel. Five plays later Purdy would scamper into the end zone for a 1 yard score, 23-17. The 49ers through three racked up 4 first downs while going 3 for 3 on 3rd and outscored Seattle 7-0. The Niners ate clock on their only offensive possession of the quarter while winning most of their 1st and 3rd down battles. Niners pass game was hard to stop as well due to Purdy continuing to do damage deep through the middle of the field and Recivers were able to create seperation. In the end, San Francisco would add the dagger after Purdy hooked up with Elijah Mitchell for a 7 yard touchdown and successfully converted a 2-point play, 31-17. Niners in the 4th quarter picked up 2 first downs while outscoring Seattle 18-6 and finished 2 for 3 on 3rd with Purdy throwing for 84 yards. That also includes 27 yards rushing. San Francisco wrapped their day up by hauling in 24 firdt downs with 15 coming in the air and finished 6 of 11 on 3rd and went 3 for 3 in goal to goal. Also added 9 first downs on 181 yards rushing. The 49ers all game long ran the ball effectively and Purdy hammered the Seattle defense when completing passes through the middle of the field. The Niners also executed well in both goal to goal and red zone situations and were efficient on 3rd down. Niners went 3 for 6 in the red area, tallied 505 yards of total offense and improved to a 14-3 record.

Seahawks heading back home after suffering a disappointing 23-41 loss to the 49ers. This ends the Seahawks season at .500 and will look to try again next year. Seattle's first possession of the 1st quarter ended in a three and out after Geno was sacked by Armstead for -10 yards. Seattle capped off quarter 1 by snagging 4 first downs with 1 coming in the air and went 1 for 4 on 3rd Seattle in the early going struggled to get their pass game clicking due to Geno Smith not reading the field and Recivers are having issues creating space. Seattle also has problems moving the sticks and from time to time they couldn't keep possessions alive when faced with a 3rd down situation. One thing that was consistent for Seattle was their solid running as their backs found room off quality blocks. Then in the 2nd quarter Seattle would cap off a 14 play drive with Walker bursting into the end zone for a 7 yard score, 7-10. Two possessions later Seattle would snag their first lead after Smith found Metcalf for a 50 yard touchdown pass, 14-13. This drive lasted 5 plays for 71 yards and they controlled the ball for 2:40. Seattle in the 3rd reeled in 3 first downs and went 1 for 2 on 3rd and 1 for 1 in the red zone. Along with Geno Smith throwing for 71 yards and 23 when utilizing the run. Geno Smith was much more effective in the picket as he delivered quick strikes to his playmakers and got the protection that he needed but struggled to run the ball due to lanes getting clogged at line of scrimmage. They've executed efficiently on 3rd and moved the sticks at a high rate. As well as capitalizing on red zone opportunities. Seattle rushed for 82 yards, picked up 10 total first downs and went into halftime with a 17-16 lead. Entering the late stages of the 3rd quarter Geno Smith would set Seattle up in Niners territory after finding Tyler Lockett for a 10 yard connection. Its just unfortunate that this 12 play drive would end with Smith getting stripped sacked by Omenihu and the ball got recovered by Bosa. Seattle in the 3rd quarter hung in 4 first downs and went 2 for 3 on 3rd with Geno Smith throwing for 60 yards. Seattle's offense managed to eat up some time while executing well on both 1st and 3rd down but were stalled with 1 careless turnover and couldn't capitalize on their only red zone chances of the quarter. As for Geno Smith he continuted his excellence in the pocket by getting the ball out quick when throwing intermediate routes and went down only once. Keep note that most of Smith's passes went for 10 or more yards. We now turn our attentions to the 4th quarter, where Smith on 2nd and goal would deliver a 3 yard touchdown pass to Metcalf but failed the 2-point try, 23-41. Seattle in the 4th quarter pulled in 7 first downs and went 0 for 3 on 3rd with Smith throwing for 89 yards. The Seahawks offense wrapped their day up by snagging 22 first downs with 14 of coming in the air and went 6 for 13 on 3rd and 2 for 3 in the red zone. They secured 104 rushing with 9 first downs added. Seattle from time to time ran the ball well but in the 2nd half they were held to only 15 yards due to poor blocking and Geno Smith struggled to read defenses as he killed a couple of drives with careless mistakes. Weather it was getting picked off or fumbling. Seattle in the 2nd half had issues entering red zone territory and converted poorly on 3rd. One positive would be their dominance on 1st down because that is what kept most of their drives moving. Hawks went 2 for 3 in the red area, 2 for 2 in goal to goal, added 332 yards of total offense and fell to 9-9.

Seattle Seahawks(11-5) go on the road & knock out the Philadelphia Eagles(9-7), by score of 17-9. Russell Wilson completed 18 of his 30 passes for 325 yards & a touchdown throw. With just a little over a minute left in the 2nd quarter Marshawn Lynch would get involved following his 5 yard rushing touchdown to increase his teams lead 10-3. Biggest play of the game though was a Russell Wilson 53 yard bomb to rookie WR, D.K. Metcalf during the 3rd quarter & extending Seattle's lead to now 17-6. D.K. Metcalf had a pretty good night for his first ever playoff game, as he ended his night with 7 receptions for 160 yards & a touchdown grab. Seattle's defense did their job last night allowing Philadelphia no touchdowns, just three straight field goals the rest of the way.
